Symptom:
The UniFi Mobile Router Ultra previously operated normally but now shows a flashing white LED. This indicates that no LTE connection can be established.
1. Establish a Direct Wired Connection
Connect an Ethernet cable to the right Ethernet port of the router.
Connect the other end to your laptop.
Verify that your laptop receives an IP address in the 192.168.105.x range.
If no IP address is assigned:
Perform a factory reset: press and hold the reset button with a paperclip or reset pin for 10 seconds.
Wait a few minutes for the device to reboot, then repeat steps 1 and 2.
2. Access the Management Interface
Open a web browser and go to: http://192.168.105.1

Password: ui
Go to the Internet tab.
If an error message appears, note it. A common message is:
Unable to connect. Please ensure the SIM card has sufficient data, or visit local portal to check the SIM card settings.
3. Check the Firmware Version
Visit: https://community.ui.com/releases
On the right-hand side, select Mobility to view the latest firmware versions for mobile devices.
In the management interface, go to the Overview tab and locate Device Version. Compare it with the latest available version on the UI website.
4. Perform a Firmware Upgrade
In the management interface, go to Settings → Manual Device Update.
Newer firmware
Download the .bin file from the UI website and upload it via the management interface.
Older firmware
Ensure the device has an active internet connection by connecting an Ethernet cable to the left Ethernet port.
In the management interface, enter the firmware URL so the device can update itself.
5. After the Upgrade
Reboot the device.
Check if the LTE connection is restored.
